அழிந்துபோகின்ற மனமே! நீ [முக்திபெறும் வழியைக்] கூறுகின்றேன், கேட்பாயாக! உன்னிடம் உள்ளதை மறைக்காமல் பிறருக்குத் [தானமாகக்] கொடுப்பாயாக! கூர்மையான வேலினைத் தாங்கிய இறைவன் திருமுருகப்பெருமானின் திருவடிகளை நினைந்து தியானம் செய்துவருவாயாக! நீண்டகாலமாகத் தொடர்ந்துவருகின்ற பிறவித் துன்பமாகிய வேதனையைத் தூளாக்கும் பொருட்டு [அந்தத் துன்பத்தின் காரணமாகிய பற்றினைச்] சுட்டெரிப்பாயாக! வினைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலிருந்தும் விடுபட்டிருப்பாயாக!

English Meaning

O, mind! You are really destroying yourself! You'd better listen to me as to how you may redeem yourself, and attain salvation! Whatever things you may have, give it to others in need without concealing it from them! Remember the Sacred Feet of the lance-bearing God Thirumurugapperumaan, and go on meditating upon them! You'd better also burn down your attachment to life which is continuously causing you agony as a result of your birth in this world! Give up all deeds which arise from your attachment [to persons and things of the worldly life], and stay away from such deeds!
