"Your six sacred faces are:
The heroic face, that killed the ruthless Cūrapanman, whose shoulders bore bow and arrows, and annihilated the other enemies, allied to the demon;
the red-lotus-flower-like sacred face, that removes the results of previous deeds, and confers blissful life on all beings;
the lotus-flower-like sacred and fragrant face with the effulgence of many sun-discs, that drive away the darkness of ignorant egoism, which is inseparable from beings;
the sacred face, that increases the ardour of your consorts Vaḷḷi-ammai and Theyvayānai-ammai;
the lotus-flower-like sacred divine face, that grants many boons, sought by your devotees and make them feel happy, for they are wholly dependent on your gracious support, and have the great desire of obtaining your compassionate grace …"
